Kathryn Krubsack, horn player in the North Coast Brass Quintet, is currently a member of the Green Bay and Kenosha Symphony Orchestras. In addition, she has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony, Milwaukee Ballet, Bel Canto, Wisconsin Chamber, Waukesha, Madison, Festival City, Racine Chamber, Oshkosh, Fox Valley, and Southwest Florida Orchestras, as well as in many musicals and chamber ensembles.

Kathryn has performed with many National Tours: Wicked, Lion King, Sweet Charity, Spamalot, 42nd Street, The King & I, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Aida, South Pacific, Some Like It Hot, Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story, Kiss Me Kate, Ragtime, Sunset Boulevard, Saturday Night Fever, Scarlet Pimpernel, Fiddler on the Roof, Carousel, Dr. Dolittle, Copacabana, and Evita among many others.

Recently she toured in Wisconsin with both Mannheim Steamroller and Josh Groban. Over the years Kathryn has performed with other artists including: Dennis DeYoung (Styx), Peter Cetera (Chicago), Kansas, Henry Mancini, Frank Sinatra Jr., Johnny Mathis, Dionne Warwick, Roberta Flaack, Melissa Manchester, Bernadette Peters, Anne Murray, Marie Osmund, Aaron Neville, Peabo Bryson, Michael McDonald, James Ingram, Robert Goulet, Tony Curtis, Sandy Duncan, Jeffrey Osborne, and Sheena Easton.

Kathryn Krubsack earned her BA in Music Education from St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN and her MM in Horn Performance from UW-Milwaukee. She is on the adjunct music faculty of Concordia University Wisconsin, UW-Green Bay and Wisconsin Lutheran College. She has taught for the Lutheran High School Association of Greater Milwaukee and it's Lutheran grade schools since 1984. Additionally, Kathryn maintains a roster of private horn students in the Milwaukee area. She is a member of the International Horn Society, the International Trumpet Guild, the Milwaukee Musicians Union, the Women's Band Director International, and the Women's Brass Conference.

In 1995 Kathryn Krubsack released the recording, Class A Horn Solos from the WSMA Contest List, in order to help Wisconsin horn students prepare for district and state contests. She has also done solo work in several other states around the country, premiered horn works and performed for International Horn Society conventions. She has been a guest conductor for the Chicago area Lutheran Band Camp and is presently the Executive and Program Director of the LHSAGM sponsored Lutheran Band Camp at Camp LuWiSoMo in Wild, Rose, Wisconsin, www.lutheranbandcamp.homestead.com.
